A great deal of thought was put into the planning of the exterior of the Mosaic Stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan. They wanted people to have a good first impression and make it a welcoming place for audiences for Roughrider games as well as other events.
They planned for the look, lighting, landscaping and how everything tied together. They even created a “fan wall” where people who made donations are recognized for their contribution.
The new Mosaic Stadium is one of the premier facilities of its kind in Canada and is the home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. There is a translucent canopy and the south end zone is uncovered to allow for clearer view. There is also an area where passersby can see into the stadium as they walk by. The venue seats up to 40,000 people.
