2017 Urban Design Awards Winners

January 10, 2018

The City of London hosted the 2017 Urban Design Awards to recognize, honour and promote excellence in urban design in London. This awards  program recognizes and celebrates original design, innovative concepts, and visionary thinking.

“London is home to some creative and innovative minds building phenomenal structures. It’s inspiring to see our streetscapes evolve and take shape. This is city building at its best,” said Mayor Matt Brown.

“The Urban Design Awards celebrate high quality city building. Each of the projects recognized have contributed positive change to neighbourhoods, open spaces or community buildings they have impacted,” says John Fleming, City Planner. “It is important to celebrate these projects in order to encourage future city builders to make the same level of positive impact.”
